Noodle Noodle+ Is A Smart Golf Ball
In all honesty, you may not rush out to grab a Noodle Noodle+ because of the goofy name, but if you are a golfer who puts distance before vanity the Noodle Noodle+ should be at the top of your bag.
As the company (a division of TaylorMade) says, "No false promises. Just results." And the results of the Golf Magazine ball distance tests logs the Noodle Noodle+ just behind the TaylorMade TP Black at 259 yards (compared to the Black's 259.1). If you long for distance, the Noodle Noodle+ delivers.
In fact, Noodle+ has the technology down so well that even the Noodle+ Lady racked up an impressive 257.1 yards, putting it at number five on the list. Want to know how that compares to the Titleist ProV1s? The ProV1x only managed to score 38th on the list with 250.4 yards, while the ProV1 limped in at 48th with 249 yards.
Another thing that may cause golfers to shy away from the Noodle Noodle+ is its two-piece construction. Again, the smart player will find that the well-priced Noodle Noodle+ has an extremely soft, "Energy Propulsion" core that prevents the hardness found in many two-piece balls while still bringing in 10 yards more than previous balls. The soft Lothane cover gives a good feel while still providing excellent durability.
The name Noodle Noodle+ is starting to sound a lot less goofy, isn't it?
